Supporting and co-planning the activities of Associazione Culturale Leo Scienza, in particular for the Unijunior Project, which has reached its 10th edition. Unijunior, a unique initiative in Italy, was born with the aim of creating a university for young students between the ages of 8 and 14, in order to introduce them – using interactive educational methods – to issues of considerable relevance. From October to spring, at the university facilities in via Belmeloro enrolled students can meet teachers of the University of Bologna, who already have a certain familiarity with scientific popularization, and learn about the teachers' disciplines relying on their instinct to explore the world and desire for knowledge.

Over the years the programme catalogue has expanded and currently ranges from mathematics to linguistics, from cultural anthropology to volcanology, from philosophy to robotics, from art history to nutrition science, from astrophysics to history and literature. Students can freely choose in which lessons to enrol and the programme they are most interested in pursuing. Since it started ten years ago, the initiative has been extended from Bologna to the campuses in Cesena, Forlì, Ravenna and Rimini and to other university cities in the Emilia Romagna region, such as Ferrara, Modena, Reggio Emilia and Parma, where successful collaborations with teachers have been established. An initiative parallel to Unijunior, Unijunior Grandi, has been introduced to support the parents of Unijunior students and allow them to learn more about topical social issues.
