From a teaching standpoint, the initiative involves testing innovative training activities for researchers and teachers, with a view to:
- enhancing their teaching commitment
- improving the quality of course units
- identifying best practices, methodologies and techniques for managing classrooms, as well as for innovating in the area of learning and assessment processes.
From an organisational standpoint, the process as a whole will indirectly:
- allow the development of a common approach, consolidating the network of internal relations within the academic community
- facilitate alignment of the reciprocal expectations of the organisation and individuals, generating consistent organisational behaviours.
In the first instance, testing has begun with type B researchers, partly with a view to facilitating their integration with and participation in the organisational life of the University.
