Territorial Integration

The University contributes to the dynamics of urban, regional and national growth, helping in some cases to define and implement regulatory and territorial innovation plans, the start-up of new firms and the transfer of technology. The University is also a point of reference for the local community, a place for the sharing of knowledge, social and cultural inclusion and active participation, capable of generating new ideas and new models for the overall growth of the city and the region.

The University provides support for political decision-making, with a view to making the territory more dynamic, liveable and capable of attracting persons from outside, building on the cultural and symbolic tracks that we leave in the territories served. In the meantime, the University is strengthening its role as an intermediary between global and local knowledge, becoming an essential cross-disciplinary player in order to guarantee the openness of the territory and the ability to absorb external changes, as well as attract the young and experienced human resources who generally represent the principal drivers of economic development and social change.
