Expansion and leverage of post-graduate studies in order to meet new needs and tackle the continuous changes and transformations of society, the productive world and the world of work.
Overall, post-graduate studies are a strategic sector for the University, comprising on the one hand the third level of education and, on the other, the development and update of advanced professional skills.

Accordingly, the intention is to place greater emphasis on this area, monitoring quality and expanding the range of both PhD degree programmes and specialization schools, as well as professional training courses (masters, post-graduate programmes and lifelong learning programmes), supporting the initiatives of departments and promoting inter-departmental, multi-disciplinary actions, with a specific focus on the needs of society, the productive work and the community, consistent with the third mission strategies of the University.

In this light, the intention is to strengthen synergies with the Bologna Business School and other institutional partners on the various campuses.

In order to respond specifically to the requests for training from the teaching staff, taking account of the new regulatory requirements, the University will develop an approach to the design, promotion and management of this training that guarantees both the quality of services and recognition of the courses available. The corporate training programme catalogue meets the technical and refresher courses requirements. Post-graduate training courses for employees of local corporations has a strategic value because the transfer of innovative knowledge to businesses promotes development within the community and has a positive impact on the economic and social system.
