The project envisages the renovation of the historical seats of the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Industrial Chemistry, in order to create a new hub for Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, with the logistical reorganisation of the existing structures and the creation of a new home for the Department of Computer Science, thanks to the space made available once the work at the Navile and Terracini campus is completed. The first intervention will involve energy requalification and ensure regulatory compliance – including obtaining a fire prevention certificate – of the historical premises at no. 2 in Viale Risorgimento, as well as improving the spaces dedicated to socialisation, refreshment and study.
The district will bring together a number of initiatives linked to entrepreneurship, such as innovative incubation and business acceleration services, spaces for co-working and shared laboratories.
