Consistent with the National Research Programme 2015-2020 (PNR), the University intends to expand its third-cycle PhD degree programmes, emphasising internationalisation, inter-sector research and greater integration with society and the productive world. Specific actions will include:
- increasing the University resources available to PhD degree programmes
- incentivisation of inter-departmental and multi-disciplinary programmes
- establishment of third-cycle degree programmes at all multi-campus locations
- activation of new PhD degree programmes in the specific contexts envisaged in the Strategic Plan
- testing of new quality assurance procedures.
