The Institute of Advanced Studies (ISA) aims to strengthen its role as an international hub for the University’s structures on all campuses, thus improving the conditions that will attract the international academics needed to teach students and PhD students (courses, modules, seminars).

To do so, it will:

  • Strengthen the mainly educational institute lecture plan in order to foster interdisciplinary exchange among teachers;
  • Promote the participation of PhD students in ISA seminars as an important part of their learning activities and interaction with the international PhD holders selected via the PhD@ISA framework
  • Strengthen the ISA topic plan to get researchers involved in highly-interdisciplinary topics and increase collaboration among departments
  • Increase exchanges with other European and non-European institutes of advanced studies, and develop joint educational and research projects
  • Increase the participation of visiting professors in departmental activities on the various campuses
