The University intends to promote, directly and indirectly, the growth of a dynamic multi-campus ecosystem that increasingly facilitates the birth and development of new firms, via collaboration and the release of synergies with public and private parties, both locally and at national and international level. Pre-incubation and incubation structures (AlmaCube, Basement Club, CesenaLab, Innovation Square) will play a central role in this strategy, being organised in networks and equipped with innovative services. In particular, in addition to welcoming and supporting the most promising ideas spawned from research, the new business model of AlmaCube will also support two further activities: one dedicated to students and the other to corporate acceleration. In particular, the business unit dedicated to students will develop services and activities for the support of start-ups. The corporate acceleration unit will work on project development with firms interested in enhancing their entrepreneurial processes by drawing on skills and experience accumulated in the world of research.
